Scroll Support for Description Area

Grids for WPF Forum

It would be nice if, by default (i.e. without custom styles/templates), the PropGrid used a vertical scroll area to show the content of the description area (scrollbar hidden when not needed, of course). I don't think other PropGrid controls have that feature, but it would be nice. I can't think of a good reason why you shouldn't be able to scroll if the content wraps beyond the visible space.

I haven't gotten too deep in the object model yet, so I apologize if this feature already exists.

Hi Boyd,

Originally, we were trying to duplicate the WinForms PG summary area. We are going to add a ScrollViewer though, since you're right that it should be viewable.

Thanks.

Good to hear! I always thought it was silly for that area to just get truncated. I like to keep it small so as not to waste space, so I often have to expand it to read all the content.
The latest build of this product (v24.1.3) was released 2 months ago, which was after the last post in this thread.
